Hickory Ridge Primitives has just added 15 new fragrances to choose from!  These are available in all products except for the mini gingerbread melting tarts.  Just go to the scent description page to check them out.  Scroll down until you see "Prairie Sun", this is the beginning of the new scents.

FRAGRANCE CHANGES

Just a quick note to let everyone know there has been some changes in the fragrances I offer.  I removed some of the fragrances that weren't big sellers.  I have also made the Mini Gingerbread Men available in limited fragrances.  Hope everyone's year is off to a great start!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

A new year is under way!  Welcome 2012!  Each new year brings with it hope for love, joy, good health, good luck and prosperity for all.  These are the wishes I have for all of my family and friends.  I include in those wishes all the new friends I have made through Hickory Ridge Primitives.  I am so happy to have "met" all of you even if it is only through an exchange online.  I hope I will continue to hear from all of you and I hope to make many more new friends in the coming year.  Much love and blessings, Linda.

FOUR DAYS TIL CHRISTMAS?!?!?!

Where has the time gone???  This week has been a blur!  I am scrambling to finish up some last minute orders, finish shopping, bake *LOL* and of course make it through two more days of work!!  I can't imagine where this year went.  Every year older I get it goes faster and faster.  Every year I vow to not do things last minute and somehow it never seems to work!  Am I the only one??  Probably not!  Well, this year will be over in a flash and my mind is swirling with some new things I would like to make to put up for sale.  Stay tuned...

GIVEAWAY AND THANKSGIVING MEMORIES

One of my favorite Thanksgiving memories is having dinner at my grandmother's house.  Along with my family, all of my aunts, uncles and cousins were present.  There were too many of us to all fit around the table so we ate in shifts.  The children were all served first then the adults sat down to dinner.  My favorite part of the meal was my grandmother's soup with homemade noodles!  My grandmother, "Buni",  lived to be 102 years old.  Buni was the ultimate mother and grandmother and one of the best cooks I have ever known.  She has been gone for 7 years now but I still think of her often and I am very thankful she was and still is a part of my life!  Leave a comment about your favorite Thanksgiving memory and I will enter your name in my giveaway of my prim fixins, room spray and melting tarts in my awesome Colonial Christmas scent.  Giveaway ends at midnight November 27th!
